This documentary recounts 50 years of the French society’s response to pedo-criminality. It is built on testimonies from victims, magistrates and psychiatrists, and on archival footage that shows television’s important role in the matter. It examines the struggle to define pedophile acts in criminal law, to evaluate its long-term consequences on victims, and to legislate to protect children.
