Damien is fighting a spell that France has cast over his village. Built 60 years ago on an indisputable battlefield from the 14-18 war, the Polygone was used as a test area for French atomic bomb detonators. Here, explosions using highly toxic products were carried out in silence. Run by engineers from Paris, this experimental center was built, maintained and monitored by the inhabitants of the surrounding communes. Out of fear or loyalty, they never spoke about it, even within their families, even when they fell ill.

10 years after the site’s closure, Damien knows that Polygone has polluted not only the soil and bodies, but also the minds. Now mayor of Pontfaverger-Moronvilliers, he is determined to break the silence and shatter this family secret shared by an entire village for three generations.
